Helena
| Helena is one of the oldest of the
children. She is 13 or 14 years old. She is very tall and
pretty -- partly Portuguese heritage. Her father killed her
mother (while Helena was there). He was sent to prison and is very
mentally unstable. Helena lived with different people before
coming to the orphanage. She is quite shy. She was afraid to
go to school at first. She thought she should just work. She
seems to be adjusted well -- she is very helpful and kind.
