Augusta is around 13 years old.  Her brother is eight year old Elias.  Their mother died and they were living with a grandmother before coming to the orphanage around three years ago.  Augusta is a very vivacious girl with lots of energy.  She is a great helper  with the other children and with cleaning floors, carrying water on her head and even doing some cooking.  She is also quite a singer and her voice can be heard loud and clear when the group is singing together.  She is a leader amongst the children.
